In this rapidly evolving technological landscape, Shuangqiang Technology, a leader in the daily-use kitchenware industry, has always maintained a pioneering spirit, constantly pursuing new breakthroughs. Looking back on 2024, Shuangqiang Technology weathered challenges and achieved remarkable results. The company's unique high-quality bamboo material chain factory business model has matured and is about to enter a new phase of replication and promotion across bamboo-producing regions nationwide. Simultaneously, the expansion of its catering channels, mini-supermarkets, and cross-border e-commerce businesses has begun to show results, achieving profitability and entering a new period of rapid growth, opening up more diversified profit channels for the company.
However, standing at this new starting point, we are also clearly aware of the many challenges ahead. We deeply understand that only by vigorously promoting information technology construction, leveraging the powerful force of digitalization to optimize management, improve efficiency, and accelerate innovation, can we maintain our course amidst the turbulent waves and sail towards a broader blue ocean of business opportunities.
Huawei, as a global leader in information and communication technology, has accumulated a wealth of valuable experience in its digital transformation journey, developing a mature and unique methodology. Driven by a burning thirst for knowledge and a steadfast vision for the future, from December 22nd to 23rd, 2024, a team of thirteen from Shuangqiang embarked on an exploration journey to Huawei, hoping to delve into Huawei's internal workings, absorb the essence of digital transformation, and inject powerful new momentum into Shuangqiang's soaring development.
Visiting the Huawei Cloud Planck Exhibition Hall: Experiencing the Power of Technology
The Shuangqiang team's first stop was the truly impressive Huawei Cloud Planck Exhibition Hall. Located on the basement level of F4 at Huawei's Shenzhen Bantian Base, this 2015㎡ exhibition hall, resembling a dreamlike palace of technology, vividly showcases the grand value of "cloud enabling thousands of industries," "cloud creating the future," and "cloud changing the world" through exquisite technology and lifelike scenario-based displays. Led by professional guides, we witnessed the deep penetration and outstanding application of Huawei Cloud across various industries. We gained a profound understanding that in this era of surging digital change, only by embracing technology can we seize opportunities in fierce market competition and write our own glorious chapter.
Sanyapo Library Experience: A Fusion of Technology and Humanity
After leaving the Cloud Planck exhibition hall, the Shuangqiang team stepped into the idyllic Sanyapo Library. Modeled after the Richelieu branch of the National Library of France, the Château de Chantilly, and the Library of Parliament, this library exudes a rich cultural atmosphere. The names of cities and countries meticulously carved on the dome represent historical and cultural cities that have profoundly influenced the origin and development of human civilization. The library boasts a collection of 90,000 titles and 110,000 volumes, encompassing the wisdom of ancient and modern times, both Chinese and foreign. This is not only a spiritual home for Huawei employees to recharge and absorb knowledge, but also a sacred temple of Huawei's corporate culture and spirit. For the Shuangqiang team, the impact of this library was comprehensive. Huawei's emphasis on the accumulation and inheritance of knowledge perfectly aligns with Shuangqiang Technology's culture of lifelong learning. Only by creating a strong learning atmosphere within the company and encouraging employees to continuously learn and grow can the power of knowledge guide the company forward on its path of development.
Exploring the Southern Factory: Automation and Humanistic Care
At Huawei's Songshan Lake Southern Factory, the Shuangqiang team experienced firsthand the automated logistics + wireless RRU manufacturing line, gaining an understanding of Huawei's automated processes and production efficiency. During the visit, Huawei's emotional care for its employees and its unique incentive mechanisms left a deep impression. The "Mood Board" set up in the factory was particularly eye-catching. Every day at the start of work, employees would post cards representing different emotions on the board. This board not only provides a direct reflection of employee emotions but also allows managers to understand the employees' state in a timely manner so as to provide care and support. Meanwhile, suggestion boxes are prominently displayed, encouraging employees to actively offer suggestions. These suggestions are even given euphemistic titles like "brick," "rough stone," and "fine jade" based on their adoption rate, greatly stimulating employee initiative and making them truly feel like owners of the factory, contributing their wisdom to the company's development with a great sense of accomplishment. This also motivates Shuangqiang to continuously explore its mission of "striving for employee happiness and making life better for everyone," jointly planning a happy future for both the company and its employees.
Strolling through a European-style town, experiencing its unique cultural charm
The most anticipated leisure time during this Huawei trip was visiting Huawei's 1900-acre Songshan Lake base's European-style town. It is divided into 12 functional areas, each replicating a famous European town or landmark such as Oxford, Windermere, Luxembourg, Bruges, Fribourg, Burgundy, Verona, Paris, Granada, Bologna, Heidelberg, and Krennov. We were also fortunate enough to ride the park's unique electric train, with stunning scenery flashing by like a slideshow, making us feel as if we had truly traveled to the European continent.
Here, we also deeply felt Huawei's open and inclusive culture of "feeling the energy of the universe while drinking a cup of coffee." Outdoor cafes were ubiquitous, with employees working or discussing in small groups, their ideas sparking in the air, creating fertile ground for innovation.
This trip to the European town not only allowed us to appreciate picturesque scenery but also enabled us to experience Huawei's unique corporate culture and values in the harmonious coexistence of people and nature. It further strengthened Shuangqiang's belief in creating a "Shangri-La" campus. Only in such a harmonious and warm environment can the soul of a company be best preserved and employees' motivation maximized.
Digital Strategy Exchange Meeting: A Feast of Ideas
On the afternoon of December 23rd, the Shuangqiang and Huawei teams gathered for a fascinating exchange meeting on enterprise digital strategy. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions, jointly exploring the future path of enterprise digital transformation.
Dr. Yin Hong, a senior expert in Huawei's digital transformation field, delivered a feast of knowledge with his profound professional expertise and rich practical experience. Dr. Yin Hong elaborated on three main themes: "The Necessity, Core Content, and Implementation Path of Digital Transformation," focusing on Huawei's "Five Transformations" methodology: Transformation of Mindset, Transformation of Organization, Transformation of Culture, Transformation of Methodology, and Transformation of Model. This provides strong theoretical support for enterprises to embark on digital transformation—
Transformation of Mindset emphasizes that all employees must shift from traditional thinking to digital thinking. This requires everyone from senior management to frontline employees to proactively embrace digital change and integrate digital concepts into every aspect of daily work.
Transformation of Organization advocates building an agile organizational structure adapted to the digital age. Break down traditional departmental barriers, deeply integrating business and IT departments to form a unified team.
Culture transformation means fostering a strong digital innovation atmosphere within the company. Employees are encouraged to boldly try new technologies and methods, tolerate failure, and view every attempt as a valuable opportunity for growth.
Method transformation focuses on the comprehensive digital reshaping of business processes. This involves shifting from cumbersome offline manual operations to efficient online automated processes, achieving full-scale digitalization of business objects, processes, and rules.
Model transformation proposes forward-looking strategies for IT applications. For existing applications, digital upgrades are gradually implemented while ensuring the stable operation of current businesses; new applications are built using cloud-native methods, fully leveraging the elasticity and agility of cloud computing to quickly respond to market changes.
Dr. Yin Hong also used Huawei's pyramid model of digital transformation as an example to explain the wisdom it embodies in a simple and easy-to-understand way—1 goal (corporate strategic goal), 2 objects (services and business), 3 stages (planning, implementation, operation, and optimization), and 4A architecture (business architecture, application architecture, information architecture, and technology architecture), which clearly showed us the systematic and scientific nature of Huawei's digital transformation.
During the interactive session, members of the Shuangqiang team actively asked questions. Dr. Yin Hong provided valuable advice on Shuangqiang's organizational structure and awareness. She pointed out that in terms of the decision-making system, Shuangqiang should clarify the decision-making roles and responsibilities of senior leaders to ensure that the information strategy is aligned with the overall corporate strategy; in terms of the support system, a sound information support architecture should be built to provide strong support for the smooth operation of business processes. At the same time, she also emphasized the importance of personnel management, proposing to strengthen the training and introduction of information technology talents and build a high-quality information team.
Dr. Yin Hong particularly emphasized that the degree of importance that senior leaders attach to information technology is a key factor in promoting the information technology process. She stated that achieving informatization begins with streamlining business processes, standardizing and formalizing all business processes within the enterprise, and then solidifying these processes through IT means to achieve process ITization. This process cannot be rushed; it requires a gradual and steady approach.
Following this, lecturer Liao Zhiqiang conducted an in-depth analysis of Shuangqiang's research findings and proposed a detailed implementation plan. He also emphasized the importance of high-level support and teamwork for project success, suggesting the establishment of a project management office to be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and management of the project, ensuring its timely, high-quality, and high-quantity completion. Simultaneously, a process transformation committee should be established to drive business process transformation and optimization, ensuring the project aligns with the company's strategic goals. Furthermore, a project implementation team, as the specific executing body, will be responsible for the specific implementation and execution of the project.
When discussing the need for rapid report generation in efficient enterprise operations, the Huawei team generously shared their experience. They stated that through long-term data governance efforts, Huawei has reduced the monthly report production time from 18 days to 3 days, and the annual report from 23 days to 6 days. This achievement was not accomplished overnight; it required extremely robust system support.
This exchange also inspired Mr. Zheng to reflect on the core essence of modern enterprise development. In terms of new-quality productivity, technological leadership is fundamental for an enterprise to stand at the forefront of the times; operational excellence ensures efficient internal operation; close customer relationships are the bridge to building deep connections with consumers; and a unified vision from top to bottom is the adhesive that unites the strength of all employees. Together, these elements converge to form a powerful force driving enterprise development.
Furthermore, Mr. Zheng summarized ten characteristics that modern enterprises should possess in the process of diversified development. Automation and intelligence significantly improve production efficiency and optimize operational processes; standardization is the cornerstone of regulating enterprise operations; technological advancement continuously injects innovative vitality into the enterprise; humanistic consideration addresses the inner needs of employees and customers; artistic flair endows products and services with unique charm; and datafication, information technology, and digitalization complement each other, helping enterprises make accurate decisions and respond agilely.
Finally, General Manager Zheng stated that Dr. Yin Hong's presentation was clear, logical, rich in content, precise, and humorous, providing Shuangqiang with much inspiration. He also expressed gratitude to the entire Huawei team for their attention to Shuangqiang, offering invaluable opinions and ideas for their IT development, which will undoubtedly become guiding principles for Shuangqiang's future development.
During this trip to Huawei, the Shuangqiang team had the privilege of visiting the beautiful Songshan Lake scenic area, not only appreciating the natural beauty but also immersing themselves in Huawei's unique and profound corporate culture. As a leader in information technology, Huawei's modern and advanced information technology is like a door to a new world, opening up endless possibilities for exploration and greatly broadening our horizons.
In in-depth exchanges with the Huawei team, we were deeply impressed by their professionalism, innovative thinking, and rigorous attitude. Both sides conducted extensive discussions and in-depth exchanges on various aspects, including IT development, corporate management, and administrative reception. This collision of ideas not only inspired us but also helped us gradually clarify Shuangqiang's development direction in IT development.
After leaving Huawei, the Shuangqiang team engaged in extensive internal communication and discussion. We deeply realized that digital transformation is not simply a matter of piling up technology and equipment, but a profound revolution encompassing mindset, organization, culture, methods, and models. Looking ahead, Shuangqiang will dedicate itself to fostering a strong culture of innovation, promoting a digital mindset among all employees, building an agile organizational structure, facilitating the digital transformation of business processes, and accelerating the development of forward-looking IT application strategy formulation capabilities. Simultaneously, we look forward to collaborating with industry experts to jointly drive the reform and innovation of Shuangqiang's IT infrastructure, realizing our grand vision as soon as possible!
